Upkeep

A phase of a player's turn during the Combat phase in which a player can perform various types of maintenance. Also a type of card that can be played during that phase phase.

Upkeep type cards are used in the phase of the same name. After such a card is played, it goes to the Discard pile unless a rule on the card says otherwise.

NOTE: Upkeep cards cannot be used in the Setup phase.
